As a self-proclaimed “fitness fiend” myself, I have tested, used, and abused every single item on this list over the years. Y’all know me as a Lululemon lover, but I promise there are non-Lulu items on this list for those who do not share my obsession. From the perfect blender for post-workout protein shakes to high-quality workout gear for every stage of motherhood, these items top my list of best fitness gifts. Let’s take a look!
1. Simple Modern Water Bottle – $30
Move over Stanley, the Simple Modern water bottle takes the cake for me. I have the almond birch color (a perfect neutral) and it beats Stanley in every way. Lighter. Less expensive. Less spillage. The perfect way to stay hydrated whether running errands in the car or sneaking in an early morning workout.
2. Lululemon 25” Align Leggings – $98
I’ve tried nearly every brand of leggings and I always come back to these aligns. I wear the 25” and they sit just above my ankle (I’m 5’5” for reference). During pregnancy I continued wearing my beloved Align leggings, but just went up one size! This Blue Linen color is a favorite of mine.
3. Under Desk Treadmill – $199
To be honest, I have not splurged on the viral walking pad…yet! But my friend has this one in her home office, and she let me give it a go – it’s safe to say I’m hooked and added this to my Christmas wish list this year. Call me basic, I won’t be offended.
4. Thorne Whey Protein Powder – $58
It can be hard to meet your daily protein needs or to fit in a quick meal between work, errands or taking care of a family, which is why I’m a huge fan of protein smoothies! I probably have one every single week and this chocolate, whey protein powder by Thorne is one of my favorites. No chunky protein here.
5. Ninja Blender – $79
Following my protein powder recommendation with our trusty blender felt appropriate. We received the Ninja blender as a wedding gift 4 years ago and we couldn’t be happier with how well it has held up. I love that it comes with the single serving cup in addition to the traditional pitcher because I use the single serve blend option for my smoothie daily!
6. Chirp Wheel – $35
If you have a friend who works a desk job, then they NEED this Chirp Wheel. This wheel was designed specifically for use on your back with the cutout for your vertebrae. Simply lay your back across the wheel and allow it to open your chest and upper back which commonly become stiff after working at a desk all day.
7. Ebb to Street Cropped Tank – $68
If it is ribbed – I’m all in, especially if it is Lululemon. I own the cropped tank in 4 colors and it’s an everyday stable that works with leggings, jeans, biker shorts and jean shorts. The length is perfect – not too cropped, but not too long. The cut in at the shoulder is SUPER flattering too. You cannot go wrong with this one.
8. Vuori Performance Joggers – $94
Sorry my beloved Lululemon, but these Vuori joggers are one of the softest and comfiest pieces of clothing that I own. They aren’t too tight at the waist or too baggy in the legs. They’re jussssst right. You cannot go wrong with gifting these.
9. Allbird Wool Sneakers – $98
I first started wearing Allbirds during pregnancy when my feet needed more support and I’ve never gone back since. They have a few different types for running vs. training vs. everyday activities, but the wool ones are my favorite. They’re comfortable and have room for your feet to actually breathe.
10. Needed Hydration Support Packs – $45
It can be difficult to find electrolyte packs that aren’t super high in sugar content, but these Needed ones fit the bill! I found Needed when I became pregnant and relied on these Hydration Support packs heavily to stay hydrated while nursing. The lime is my favorite flavor!
11. Lululemon Belt Bag – $38
I feel so basic for sharing this, but honestly, I love this bag. I purchased one to use when we went to Italy & Greece this past summer for the days I didn’t want to bring a handbag while hiking, and it’s the perfect size for your phone, wallet, keys and chapstick.
12. 150lb Cap Dumbbell Set – $288
Good, quality dumbbells is something many of us don’t invest in because of the expense. We’d rather spend that money elsewhere – but really a dumbbell rack will last a lifetime! Invest in it now and I promise you won’t regret it.
13. Claw Clip – $12
There is nothing worse than stray hair falling into your face during a workout. These octopus-shaped claw clips are the ONLY ones that have been able to successfully hold up my super long and thick hair. I know there are other ones out there that will do the trick for not as crazy hair, but I really swear by these octopus-shaped ones.
14. Adjustable Bench – $219
This is the exact bench I use for every one of my workouts. You can adjust the step height as well as incline or decline the bench. Bonus: you can store bands and other accessories within the bench!
15. Lululemon Scuba Sweatshirt – $118
Another staple in my everyday outfits. I’m always cold, especially when I first wake up, so I love wearing this during my warm-ups for my workouts until I have a little sweat going. They also have a non-hooded version, but I prefer the funnel-neck myself.
